Hope Works Screening

Hope Works is an 19-minute documentary that takes viewers on an inspiring journey through the eyes of a group of emerging young filmmakers in Washington, D.C.

Hope Works had a sneak preview at the Anacostia Youth Media Festival in SepteMber 2024, and will be going on a screening tour in Spring 2025

Game Studio Pilot Program

Anacostia Youth Media, in collaboration with Covenant House, is excited to launch the Game Studio Pilot Program! This program is designed to give Washington, DC youth an opportunity to explore coding, game design, and the creative process behind developing a video gameā€”all while working collaboratively in a studio setting.

Rules & Terms

Students from across DC will be encouraged to submit video work that reflects their own lives and community in the post-covid world. The video work will be accepted in a variety of formats and be limited to 1 to 7 minutes so that the festival can accommodate many youth participants.
