Anacostia Youth Media Festival 2025
September 20-21 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Anacostia Smithsonian Museum
The Anacostia Youth Media Festival is among the first youth-directed festivals in the DC area organized and held in the Anacostia Neighborhood of Washington, DC. The two-day event will feature a DC Youth Media competition screening and workshops. Youth ages 5 to 18 are encouraged to submit.
The 2025 Festival will be held at the Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum on September 20-21 from 10 am to 5 pm. SUBMISSION AND FESTIVAL ATTENDANCE IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC!

Rules & Terms
Students from across DC will be encouraged to submit video work that reflects their own lives and community in the post-covid world. The video work will be accepted in a variety of formats and be limited to 1 to 7 minutes so that the festival can accommodate many youth participants.
